About

As mom's, we are about as busy as we can get with everyone and everything we take care of...

Then there's the task of just trying to get a nutritious dinner on the table every night!  And you're so overwhelmed by all the choices in the grocery store, all the labels make you wonder what you're really getting, where it's coming from and is it a healthy option for my child who may already have some health issues?

I know because that's where my journey started too.

It's a struggle to find real, wholesome and nutritious food.  Especially with so many new labels and terms, how are you supposed to know the difference between them all.  And does it really matter if our food comes from another country...YES, it does matter!

When our daughter was in Kindergarten she started having severe migraine headaches, it was terrible to see her so sick she just wanted to lay on the bathroom floor.  Naturally we started with our family doctor who referred us to a specialist.  It was then that she was put on her first daily medication.  We started our first food journal and recorded EVERYTHING!  Eventually we discovered the culprit - processed meats.  After some changes to her diet she was able to stop the daily medication!  I was so relieved, none of us want our kids on medication if there's another way.

That's why we started raising our own cattle, the most natural way we could.  I wanted something better for our family and I want to share it with our community.  We started raising cattle 12+ years ago for ourselves and it didn't take long to realize the benefits, health and otherwise.  It's a wonderful feeling to know your farmer and actually know what your feeding your family, that's not easy to come by these days!

We have a strong commitment to our animals and to our customers.  We don't use any antibiotics, steroids or hormones.  Our animals are robust and healthy but they are also happy and that helps us deliver a superior product.

Come say 'hi' in the farm store sometime, we'd love to have you!
